CoolFonts.cool is a free, browser-based Unicode text tool. This policy explains what is and isn't collected when you use it.
The text you type
Every style on the site is generated in your browser. The words you enter into the generator are converted to Unicode locally and are never sent to, logged by, or stored on a server. Close the tab and that text is gone.
What we store on your device
To make the tool nicer to use, your browser's localStorage
may hold a few small values: your pinned favorites
(coolfonts:favorites), recently copied styles
(coolfonts:recent) and your selected mood filter
(coolfonts:mood). These stay on your device, are never
transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your
browser's site data. They are not cookies and are not used for
tracking.
No accounts, no sign-up
There is no registration, login or newsletter. We do not ask for your name, email or any personal information to use the site.
Cookies and analytics
CoolFonts.cool does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If privacy-respecting, aggregate usage measurement is used in future, this policy will be updated to say so before it is enabled.
Hosting and security logs
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may process standard technical request data (such as IP address, user agent and timestamp) for the limited purposes of serving pages, preventing abuse and keeping the site available. This data is not used to build a profile of you or to identify individual visitors.
Links to other platforms
The site references and links to third-party platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X and others). We don't control those services; their own privacy policies apply once you leave CoolFonts.cool.
Children's privacy
The site is general-audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
